March 8th marks International Women’s Day (IWD) – a time to honor and celebrate the remarkable social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women around the world. Beyond celebration, IWD serves as a powerful platform to spotlight the challenges women encounter, and advocate for gender equality and inclusivity in our communities.
This year, the theme of International Women’s Day 2024 is “inspire inclusion,” emphasizing the importance of embracing diversity and providing women with a sense of belonging, empowerment, and equality. At Wolf, we embrace our responsibility to cultivate an inclusive and diverse workplace. To celebrate this year’s theme, Wolf’s female leaders share their visions for the future of all women and how Wolf is taking action to inspire inclusion in the workplace.
How Does Wolf & Company Inspire Inclusion?
At Wolf, by understanding our role in making a meaningful difference in the community, we strive to empower our people both professionally and personally.
Our Events Marketing Manager, Stephanie Bartlett, sheds light on the initiatives at Wolf, aimed at creating an inclusive space for all women. She says, “Wolf embraces inclusion by cultivating a diverse workforce, fostering an environment where every voice is valued. Through employee resource groups, mentorships programs, and more, Wolf is building a culture that celebrates differences to ensure everyone feels seen, heard, and appreciated.”
How is Wolf Taking Action to Develop the Next Generation of Women Leaders?
When it comes to our commitment to developing the next generation of women leaders, Wolf’s Audit Senior Manager, Nicole Florian-Theriaque says, “Wolf offers a Women of Wolf Employee Resource Group, providing a supportive community to network, and grow personally and professionally.” As Wolf continues to provide the resources and support to our female employees, Nicole adds, “the firm’s flexible work arrangements help women balance work and family responsibilities to retain top talent.”
Rita Griffith, IT Assurance Senior Manager, also shares how Wolf invests in opportunities to bring more female representation to our firm. “When I started at Wolf, I was one of two women on my team – now, there are 12 of us. This shows how Wolf takes the time and action to develop the next generation of women leaders.” Our Chief People Officer, Colleen Simonelli, adds, “Wolf increased representation of women in our leadership positions, especially in C-Suite, lines of service, and Principal roles.”
What is Your Hope for the Future of All Women?
As we reflect on the past, we also look to the future, where our shared dedication can drive us toward a world where every woman has the chance to lead and feel supported. Wolf’s Director of Marketing, Shauna Archer, shares “My hope for the future of all women is a world where they are empowered to fully realize their potential, enabling them to pursue their aspirations and contribute their talents to society without barriers.” To add to Shauna’s vision for the future, Amanda Matczynski, Director of Data Services, says she hopes for a world where “their potential is fully realized, and every woman can live with dignity, equality, and freedom.”
As we continue to inspire inclusion through our firm initiatives, we are proud to celebrate International Women’s Day and recognize the female leaders who make invaluable contributions to our organization, day in and day out.
